Android pay came to bring us all Android users a method of mobile payment without having to rely on a particular vendor. It given the problems generated by the root to banks, Google decided that a rooteado terminal could not use Android Pay, pulling back some users.

Then came a new form of root, that did not alter the folder system, known as systemless root , to allow people did not have to choose between Android Pay rootear and use, as they would have both. But recently a user of xda-developers reported that their Nexus 5X with root systemless not working Android Pay

    .

From that message, all other holders of a Nexus 5X reported exactly the same problem, but not only them, but also owners of other terminals with root systemless found that Android Pay not work . It appears that Google took action and put some sort of patch on their servers.

From now on, unless some way to circumvent this is found, it will be necessary choose to use Android Pay and root the phone . It will certainly be a step back for many people who consider essential to have your rooted smartphone, but Google is one way to gain the trust of banks
