    Back History

To date, Google I have never added any extra feature the Back button of the Android devices, simply are limited to perform its functionality, the back in the applications. Well, this looks like it’s going to change.

The unstable version of Chrome Canary is testing a new experimental feature, you perform a long press on the Back button to access the History.

How to activate the new History menu of Chrome 70

    Back History

This experimental feature is disabled by default and to be able to test it we need to have installed Chrome Canary in your version 70 and perform these three simple steps:

    1. Enter Chrome://flags from the address bar.
    2. Activate Long Press Back Button for History
    3. Click on Relaunch Now to restart Google Chrome.

Now when you perform a long press on the Back button we see as it opens a new menu that allows us to see the last web pages viewed, open a new tab or display the full history.

This experimental feature would not make it to the stable version until a few months, always and when Google does not charge for future upgrades, since not all of the tests that they end up coming to the final version of Chrome.
