    The Terror

‘The Terror’ is still one of the series most applauded of the season and also one of the most popular, reason for which it has been renovated by AMC. Of course, the plot of the first season, based on the novel of the same name by Dan Simmons, is already closed so the next will have new protagonists and yet another promising scenario: World War II.

The series adds well to the format of anthology of terror, an interesting option that frees the creators of the apparent need to put padding to extend the seasons, allowing you to tell different stories independent. ‘The terror’ will offer original story in its new season, which also will consist of ten episodes.

The first season was based on a true story, although the book of Simmons added supernatural elements, alternating the drama with the fantastic and horror. The attractive cocktail of genres adds to an impressive production and a great cast, led by Jared Harris, Tobias Menzies and Ciarán Hinds, to give place to one of the series most powerful of the year. If you’ve seen the first few episodes and not the end of the hook, do not leave, it is improving little by little.

According to reports Variety, Ridley Scott will remain involved as a producer along with Alexander Woo (‘True Blood’) and Max Borenstein (‘Kong: Skull Island’). Woo will be the showrunner of ‘The terror 2’ and the plot will revolve around a spirit threat to a community of japanese-americans, starting in California and spreading across the Pacific during the second great war of the TWENTIETH century.

at the moment there is no release date but it is expected the series to return 2019.
