Electronic Arts acquires to Respawn Entertainment, creators of Titanfall

    Working on a Star Wars game and a new Titanfall.

    Electronic Arts has announced the acquisition of Respawn Entertainment, the study known to develop Titanfall. The agreement is expected to be closed at the end of the year or before.

    The company, founded by the heads of Infinity Ward, is working on several projects at this time, including a new Titanfall, a game Star Wars and a virtual reality experience.

    In a official statement has confirmed that there will be no significant changes in the team and the current projects will continue on its course. Vince Zampella, ceo of Respawn, will continue in the study.

    EA will give us more resource, access to new technologies and experience in areas that Spawn values for future growth. Respawn will retain the same creative freedom that we have had”, has been communicated to Respawn.
