A user of Twitter has warned of a new scam that uses the name of a big brand, in this case media market, to deceive users and steal their personal data. “They are sending SMS to mamporro in the name of MediaMarkt to respond to a survey. do Not do it, is just to keep your data. is Not MediaMarkt or they are going to send a Galaxy S10+”, warned José Conti in his account on the social network. Next to the warning, the tweeter included two screen shots in which one could cer a SMS saying “Dear client. On the 12th of November, your name was chosen as the second winner of our raffle November. See the details here”, and included a link. In the second case, it was the site that referred, in which, with a Spanish bad bill, it said “Congratulations! You have been selected for our annual survey of customers MediaMarkt in 1 minute!”. The bait was sweet: “As a reward for responding to our survey, you will receive one of these gifts: Samsung Galaxy S10+!“. It should be noted that this is just one of many scams, easily recognisable by the bad writing, for the award outrageously generous and for being a communication standard. it Is advisable not to ignore this kind of messages , or in any case, check them first with the brand or company in question.
I have very clear that it is a hoax, this go ahead @MediaMarkt_es
