BQ was one of the first brands to join the program Android One of Google. The model in question was the Aquaris A4.5 launched in 2015 as the first Android One to Spain and Portugal. Since then we have not seen any other similar proposal in the catalogue of the Spanish firm, but this will change soon.
BQ has shown a preview of who will be their next smartphones with Android One. Yes, in the plural, because there will be two models. On the one hand we have the Aquaris X2 and on the other the Aquaria X2 Pro, which will be the more complete of the two and the one that appears in the image that accompanies this step.
The new bet on Android One will raise the bar
By the time we do not know the specifications that will have new Aquaris X2 and Aquaris X2 Pro, but the firm advertises as their next ‘top of range’, so we can expect a leaf more advanced technique and is close to the mid-range premium.
In the image we can extract some details about the Aquaris X2 Pro, which as we said will be the most complete of this duo. The terminal sports a design with a rear glass-which inevitably reminiscent of the iPhone X by the location and shape of your dual camera, although here we have fingerprint reader on the rear.
If we turn to the front we do not have a trace of the notch, but that there is a clear reduction of marcos and a panel of more lengthened, a sure sign that will mount a panel format 18:9.
On the software, the integration of Android One implies that we will have a version of the system without personalization, but in addition to that there will be updates for at least two years. yes, we hope to reach more punctual than they did in the Aquaris A4.5. For the moment there is no planned date for the launch of Aquaris X2 and X2 Pro, but we will be attentive to offer more new features.
