Apple starts a repair program to three years for the Apple Watch Series 2 with defective batteries
as of this week, Apple Stores and authorized service providers offer technical service for the Apple Watch Series 2 with batteries swollen that they do not turn on. This information comes from an internal document, which notes that some Apple Watch Series 2 (42mm) does not light up or have problems with a battery swollen.
To solve this problem, Apple will provide service free of charge, and for a period of up to three years from the date of purchase. The computers that are included in this program are any Apple Watch Series 2 of 42mm and lines Sport, Nike+, Hermès, and Edition.
The teams will then go through a visual inspection mechanics prior to authorizing the service.
