Blumhouse has launched a new version of ‘Black Christmas’, the classic film slasher that already included a remake in 2006. In addition, the fashion production of horror films has announced the signing of Imogen Potts to lead the cast.
The film’s original Bob Clark premiered in 1974, told how the members of a fraternity of women is preparing for the christmas holidays. Everything is complicated when some start to receive calls from a stalker, something that precedes the disappearance of one of them..
Considered by many as the true starting gun of the slasher, ‘Black Christmas’ is a film notable that he avoided the overdose of blood in which he ended up dropping the subgenus years later. His strength is still in force today and we will see if the director – Sophia Takal -‘Always friendly’- it is able to replicate it.
