The “Saving data” in the web browser Chrome will no longer be restricted to compress the pages on the Google servers before you open them in our mobile device, now under its new name “basic Mode” premiered more advantages, which will allow to load the web pages faster.
The new “basic Mode”, in addition to help reduce data usage by up to 60% now loads pages Lite, or basic, if it detects that we have a connection very slow that it is going to cost much to load a web page.

If Chrome predicts that it will take more than five seconds to open a web page it will tell you the servers of the site that you are interested in to load a version of the site that uses less data. In the event that there is no such version, Google will load the version Chrome Lite Page.
Chrome Lite Page will load a very basic version of the website, which will open very quickly. Many multimedia elements such as images and videos will not be loaded. Chrome will alert us in the navigation bar that we are seeing a basic version.
The “basic Mode” is activated from the Settings > basic Mode. These improvements and name change of a way of “Saving data” will begin arriving from today to the users.
