In the history of football the most unusual plays have been presented and, the goalrights of course, have been no exception, usually, giving the ball to the opponent thinking that it is someone from their team or, as a last winger, not even realizing that the ball has entered the rojo.
The story of Graeme Smith
And Graeme Smith, a man born on 3 October 1982 in Scotland, can boast of breaking into the history of the world’s most clueless archers. It all began towards the end of 2015 when Brechi City, a third-division team in which the balel guard was home to his rival at Ochilview Park Stadium, just a few blocks from his home.
But his layoff would be far from the court as the goalkeeper, instead of heading to his team’s stadium, prepared his car and drove to the stadium of the rival team 130 kilometers away, thinking that was where the match would take place.
In the wrong stage
However, great would be his surprise when upon arriving at the stadium of the rival team he did not find anyone known, a situation that surprised him greatly. He called his wife to ask him about the strangeness of the situation, but she told him that the match was not there, but that they played home.
A lost match
Luckily the man had arrived long enough to return at full speed to get to the game on time, which, however, did not help him to make his team fall 2-1. However, his story soon went viral and even Scotland’s major media outlets made his unusual story known.
