Frank Pearce, founding partner of Blizzard, leaves the company

Founded the company along with Allen Adham and Mike Morhaime in 1991. The leaves after 28 years of history.

Frank Pearce, one of the three founders of Blizzard, leaves the company after 28 years of history in it. Founded in February 1991 under the name Silicon & Synapse by All Adham, Mike Morhaime and Frank Pearce.

Adham left Blizzard in 2004 and Mike Morhaime came out of Blizzard a few months ago. Now Pearce has announced his desire to seek new professional challenges “and pass the torch to the new generation.” However, since Adham returned in 2016 to the company, at least one of the founders still on it.

“Allen Adham offered me the opportunity to join him and Mike in his adventure and dream of creating video games. Video games were a passion we shared, and I just had the hope that I might get to do games some day,” he explained.

“I have an endless amount of memories. Work with the best developers in the world in the best sagas of the world is something that definitely stands out,” said Pearce. “Even more strong are my memories of our first BlizzCon, where I realized the special importance of the people and communities that had become part of the experience of our players.”
