The latest version of Gmail app for Android integrates with Google Tasks to afford the convert an email into a task in Google Tasks. We tell you how it’s done.
Add an email to Google Tasks
If we get to our Gmail account an email with some task or event that you do not want to miss it we can add it easily to the application Tasks of Google. To do this we need to perform these steps:
- Opens Gmail Android
- Open email
- Tap on More options (icon top right)
- Tap on Add to Tasks
After these steps Gmail have created a task in Google Tasks you can open it by pressing the shortcut View that will appear for a few seconds at the bottom of Gmail.
The integration currently Google Tasks with Gmail is very basic, the only thing that does is create a task with the name of the subject of the email add a direct access to be able to open the original email. The details fields, date and time must fill them in manually. Not the pilla automatically in the mail.
