Qualcomm announces the Quick Charge 3.0 technology designed to charge up to four times faster than conventional device load and two times faster than the first version its Quick Charge 1.0.
One of ads from Qualcomm Technology, with his new Snapdragon SoCs 820, 617 and 430 , has been its new charging system Fast Quick Charge 3.0 . It is the third iteration and it manages to offer the same charge as its first version in half the time. But how do not degrade very fast battery in each load
The Quick Charge 3.0 system uses Qualcomm what called as INOV : Intelligent Negotiation for obtaining Optimal voltage. It is an algorithm that allows a mobile device to determine which require battery power, the charger at all times; of this form the load is maximized without compromising too much efficiency or lifetime of the battery.
Now supports a range of higher voltages, allowing the SoC can dynamically adjust the adequate voltage to the device and battery each time of loading. Instead of using several fixed load levels according to a certain percentage of remaining battery power, Qualcomm uses very small 200mV increments from 3.6V to 20V . Thus, the SoC device may be gradually reducing the voltage , and therefore the power consumed in load, in dozens of different steps. It is more efficient because it maximizes the power at each point without damaging the battery.
Quick Charge 3.0 can be implemented by any manufacturer using connectors USB Type-A, USB micro, USB Type-C or proprietary connectors . Usually a non-exclusive algorithm and Qualcomm Snapdragon technology.
The device will always be to ask a voltage and maximum intensity and not the charger, there is always a circuit so that users do not degrade life battery or even kill her. Therefore always be sure to load a smartphone with Quick Charge though highly recommended certificates.
Never save on a charger, a few dollars saved can mean very slow charges or problems in the short and long term. Fast charging technology is a necessary, but has the limitation that lithium batteries can not be charged very quickly without degrading its capacity and lifetime. even more serious problem in electric cars .
