How to automatically delete the activity history from your Google account

Google save by default in our account a history private with all the websites that we visit, our searches and the applications we use every day. This activity history is used to offer recommendations and personalized ads.

Until now, we could manually manage our activity, you delete the complete history, by day or by products, but by the end we can automatically delete our record of activity.

Now we can configure our Google account to go by automatically deleting our history of activity on the web and in apps each day. Or to put it another way, we can now tell Google the time that we want to keep our business.

To do this we just need to follow these steps:

1. Open the application of Google
2. Click on the tab More
3. Tap on Search activity
4. On the card “option of the Activity on the Web and in Applications is enabled” click Change this setting

Google will allow us to keep our activity during 18 months or 3 months, by automatically deleting the record that exceeded this period. The default option will save our activity until it is automatically removed.

Pause function Activity

If you do not want Google to save our history, and gives us equal losing the personalized recommendations, suggestions, on the basis of our history, as routes Google Maps, or frequently used applications, you can disable it.

To do this so we just have to go back to Google > More > Search activity and on the same card activity before, click on the edit icon. There we will be able to pause the function of Activity for Google to stop storing in our Google account our activity and web applications.
