How to translate entire documents with Google Translate

incredibly useful feature that is always present in the Google translator but many ignore or forget perhaps accustomed only to copy and paste, is to translate entire documents in DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, PDF and TXT. The translation is done in a new browser tab and maintains much of the formatting (spaces, bullets, etc..).


In order to translate a document just go to the page of the translator in translate.google.com and click on the option Translate a document available below the text entry box on the left, where you paste or type that is going to translate.

then the design will change to display a translator Load button, which says Select File , which when pressed will open a window to select the file location on the PC. A simpler option is to drag the file and drop it into the browser.

Of course, if it’s from a URL directly from where you want to capture (http://xxx.com/documento.pdf) no need to use the option Translate a document , simply pasting and clicking translator .
