After taking in the Telegram a good time, WhatsApp has finally added stickers. Thanks to them, we can enrich our conversations and give it a touch more lively. The problem is that the number of available packs is not far from the same as that in the Telegram, but fortunately there is a small workaround that can be continue to download the stickers of Telegram, to create a package for WhatsApp and use them in our chats.
The only thing you need is to have Telegram installed on the PC, a bot and a free application that can be found in Google Play.
The procedure is not at all tedious and it just will take time, so let’s see how to do it.
The first is to download the stickers of Telegram
The first step is to get the stickers of Telegram. For this reason, it is recommended to use the PC version, since it allows to obtain the URL of the package. You can download it from here. That being said, what you have to do is install the bot @Stickerdownloadbot and, once done, access it, give it to “Start” and click on the “Settings” button. In the options that appear, select “webp only”.
With this, what you’re doing is to get the stickers in the format supported by WhatsApp. In addition, Telegram as WhatsApp require that the images are in 512 x 512 pixels, saving you the resize.
When you have selected webp, go to the option “saved Messages” and envíate a sticker on the package that you want to export. We, for instance, we have chosen the memes of The Thing. Once submitted, left-click on it and select “Share stickers”. That will copy the link of the package to the clipboard.
Finally, it returns to the bot that you have previously installed and send the URL. After a few few seconds, the bot will return you a file .zip with all the images for the package in the format webp. Have patience, as the speed will depend on the amount of stickers in the package.
Now move them to WhatsApp
we Already have the stickers in format .zip, so the next thing is to make a package for WhatsApp. To do this, the first thing you have to do is to pass the compressed file to your mobile. If you downloaded it on PC you can do this by using the USB cable, but it is faster to download directly from Telegram. When you have that, create a folder in the root of the memory of your mobile with the name of the package (in this case “Memes of The Thing”) and unzip it the files webp.
Now download the application Personal Stickers for WhatsApp. Give them permission to access the internal storage and you will see how, automatically, detects files webp and allows you to create a package of stickers. Simply click on “Add” and waiting to be added to WhatsApp. If you create several folders with several different pictures, the application will create a package folder, so that you’ll be able to add all of them to WhatsApp in a matter of seconds.
As you can see in the image above, WhatsApp detects the stickers and enables you to send and display them in chats. Now all you have to do is to repeat this process as many times as packets of stickers you want to export and voila, all your stickers Telegram will also be available on WhatsApp.
If you want to share the stickers with your contacts, you must simply pass the file .zip generated by the bot. They will only have to download Personal Sticker for WhatsApp and repeat the process shown in this second part.
