Apple announced today that registration is open for its free sessions “Hour of Code” that will be held between 4 and 10 December in nearly 500 locations around the world. The sessions are open to the general public, regardless of age.
Apple also added a new challenge Hour of Code in the application Swift Playgrounds for the iPad, that invites students to create a robot digital. It also added new resources for teachers in the curriculum Everyone Can Code to help students to learn programming with Swift.
This is the fifth year that Apple offers sessions Hour of Code in celebration of Computer Science Education Week.
