Intel was news a few days to announce that would make ARM processors 64-bit quad-core and it is again today on news that the company has begun shipping its new chips XMM 7160 to manufacturers. It is the last modems that the company has manufactured and are compatible voice and 2G, 3G and 4G LTE , including support the 15 bands LTE world.
This modem is designed to provide the ultimate experience connection speed on mobile devices, tablets and ultrabooks and there is already a terminal in the market that includes the Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet 3. Thus, the module Intel XMM 7160 is one of the first solutions multiband and multimode LTE smaller and more efficient current that can allow manufacturers to include them forget about using other chips according to the geographical area to which they are addressed devices.
