When it comes to companies that make phones and tablets in Spain (that design, because production itself usually in China) is inevitable think bq but beyond this Madrid company, there are others who seek to gain a foothold and the last to jump into this territory is Primux competed. With Galician roots have recently introduced four input range devices.
In a market dominated by Qualcomm and MediaTek in the processor market, surprisingly Primux choose also opt for Intel and processors Atom. Do not expect real beasts, the goal of this company is to attract us with affordable prices and for those looking for something basic elemental terminal
.
Primux Volt and H500, Android smartphones

Volt is the current reference Primux phone and in it we find a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 with 1GB of RAM next. The internal memory is 8GB but may extend to 64GB microSD. The screen has a size of five inches and carries an IPS panel capable of displaying a resolution of 720p HD
The highlight of this device is the battery. 4000 mAh battery (lithium polymer) that a priori is sufficient to withstand a couple of days without much difficulty. We will see in practice how about because there are other less capable terminals that have shown tremendous returns.
The pair of cameras is 13 and 5-megapixel without any additional data on the sensors. Is Dual SIM, 4G and comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop. We do not know if in the future will be updated Marshmallow 6.0. Public sale price is 159 euros.
The H500 is a more modest terminal where we find a Intel Atom x3-C3130 with 1GB of RAM. 8GB of memory without possibility to extend micro SD so we’re pretty limited to install applications and save documents. Not 4G and the battery is 2,100 mAh.
It has a 5-inch IPS panel with a resolution HD 720p and standard Android 4.4 KitKat. It costs 125 euros and considering that for this price there are options like the Moto E, it is a terminal that is something lame. More worthwhile to go to Volt in this case.
Primux UP and UP Mini, its pair of tablets

With the tablets, Primux echoes a similar strategy. His model is the reference UP processor quad-core A33 1.3GHz Cortex A7, 1GB of RAM and 10.5-inch screen with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. 5000 mAh standard battery and KitKat. Its price?. 119 euros
On the other hand we have UP Mini coming down at 9 inches and that change lost many elements: the same processor and RAM is maintained low resolution 1024 x 600 pixels and 1,000 mAh battery loses along the way. The memory is also reduced: 16GB to 8GB. The price is 89 euros, once again, pay for the larger model is the best choice.

In any case, the feeling that Primux needs time. They are input device, as stated above, it seeks to reach an audience looking for something very basic and elemental. Let’s wait to see if they will continue to evolve and bringing more differentiated products. For now, we can already say that in Galicia Blusens someone else makes Android phones and tablets
