Royal Observatory in Greenwich , one of the most iconic places of astronomy, held every year the Astronomy Photographer of the Year, a competition that aims to choose the best astrofotografía the moment. However, this year it seems that the choice will be difficult, since the quality shown many snapshots is admirable.
On this occasion have been more than 7,200 images from different countries. Although the winners will not be known until 17 September, and you can see some of the photos that have been submitted for the contest. And the truth is that no waste.

Although both can be evaluated according to their results, to obtain them have been used different techniques that would be appreciated separately. - People and space
- Our Sun
- Our Moon
- Planets, comets and asteroids
- Stars and nebulae
Each is evaluated differently and has different awards, something suitable for the fairest possible selection. As mentioned earlier, we to wait until the end of summer to check the final choice of the jury. Meanwhile, we may be partakers of the great beauty that present most of these shots
