lovers of animation for adults we have just received a perfect excuse to uncork a bottle of champagne and put a disc of Kenny Loggins blaring, because, from the Comic-con San Diego has just confirmed that we will revisit the “zone of danger” of the hand of the agent Sterling Archer in a new season.
The good news has come during the panel ‘Archer’, in which the executive producer Casey Willis has given a little hint about the paths that will take the eleventh season of the series:
“We are tremendously excited about our eleventh season and we are looking forward to that ‘Archer’ will awaken from his coma and return to a world of spies that has continued without him during the last three years.”
Although the premise has been clear, is yet to see if it will give a return of nut to the production once more; because if anything has become clear after these ten years is that ‘Archer’ is a series unpredictable that as soon as it is a parody of spies as a pirate adventure, a thriller of drug traffickers or an epic space retrofuturista as the view in ‘1999’.
With its renewal, ‘Archer’ is automatically converted in the series most long-lived of the history of FX after ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’; and this has been thanks to a loyal public that is not defected after the change of channel to FXX. Now just have to wait for the date you will reach our new dose of humor-rumped and irreverent hand of these characters unique.
