The messaging application WhatsApp continues to work on a feature that will allow users to send messages that delete themselves after a certain time, and in its latest beta for iOS has announced that the self-destruction of messages is to be used only for groups.WhatsApp unveiled function of messages that self-destruct in the past month of October, initially known as ‘messages that disappear’. With this feature, the user can select which of your messages are automatically deleted in certain time periods: an hour, a day, a week, a month or a year.Now, the portal WABetaInfo has warned on the version 188.8.131.52/24, the beta of WhatsApp for iOS which the function happens to be known as ‘delete messages’ and may use it only in groups, not so in the chat individual, as had been shown in previous betas.The self-destruction of messages happens as well to become a tool with the main purpose of clean up the content of the groups with a lot of activity, to be possible to activate it to save space on the device.Users that wish to use it will have to create group chat, in which the manager is a person who can enable or disable this function, but for the moment this is not present in the stable version of WhatsApp.
