Nokia, ASUS, Wiko, ZTE, Alcatel… and now also Huawei. The chinese manufacturer presents its Android mobile GO to emerging markets, as had already been confirmed from Google to end up getting this year. We will know the Huawei Y3 2018, a mobile phone, clearly focused on the input range, with a few features that are very humble but the advantage of having the latest version of Android and pre-installed applications to consume less memory.

The Huawei Y3 2018 has already been intimated in the official website of the manufacturer, mainly in Africa. It is not surprising, since the aim is to provide a mobile phone as cheap as possible but with a performance good enough. Let’s see how is the approach of Huawei to Android GO, which also makes the Huawei Y3 2018 in the brand’s first model with Android pure.

    Huawei Design

The Huawei Y3 2018 arrives with a panel of five inches with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. We do not have either format 18:9 or even HD resolution, but the size is quite small and as mobile input may be sufficient.

In its interior, there is a commitment to a processor MediaTek MT6737M, a model which is very basic but that again works in to reduce the cost of the device. We accompany 1GB RAM and 8GB of storage. For the battery we have 2.280 mAh and we don’t have fingerprint reader.

As we see, everything the mobile has been designed to remove components that increase the price and am surprised to see these features in 2018. Despite this, it does make sense when we look at the markets where it will focus. To give you an idea, the changes are minimal with respect to Huawei Y3 2017.

    Huawei Cam

In the section photo we have a rear camera of eight-megapixel camera with flashLED and autofocus while in the front we have a sensor of two megapixels with fixed focus.

Android 8.1 Oreo next to the Android project GO are the protagonists of the Huawei Y3 2018. We leave aside the EMUI more classic to offer the Google apps version GO. Although as can be seen in the promotional image we still have the icons of the layer of customization Huawei.

Versions and price of the Huawei Y3 2018

    Huawei Y3-Screen

The Huawei Y3 2018 will be available in colors white, grey and gold a price is still not official. Will be oriented to markets like Ghana or south Africa, countries where their web page have shown. We will update when we know more details about its availability and price, but based on the components should have a similar or lower price than the other Android GO, that is to say, below 80 or 90 euros per change.
