    In a recent interview with Game Informer, the producer and head of development at PlatinumGames Atsushi Inaba has revealed that the studio is looking to create its own license and the self-publishing, although it would initially be for small projects.

    Platinum is known for developing important sagas for Sega, Square Enix, Activision or Nintendo, but “one of the things on which we are focused is on creating our own license, create our own game… We are more and more interested in the idea of publishing ourselves“.

    Inaba ensures that they will continue to create “AAA” for other publishers because they simply can’t take the risk with these projects. “First, we will continue with the blockbusters for other companies because we don’t have the cash flow to take that risk. To make AAA games you need to be a large company, a publishing house”.

    The company is currently working on Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link, Lost Order, Bayonetta 3, and it is believed that in the next Nier.
