Samsung publishes One Hand Operation in Google Play, its app to add gestures to any mobile phone in the signature

One of the implementations that we have seen in the devices recently released, especially after the arrival of Android 9 Foot, has been gesture navigation, although not all phones have them. Samsung, for its part, has been implemented at their terminals with the passage of time, and has now released an app dedicated in Google Play to take them to any smartphone, as long as it is the signature.

it Is One Hand Operation. In a nutshell, is an application that allows you to configure gestures on the side edges of the screen to carry out operations, such as return to the previous screen, the home screen, displaying notifications or turn it off. We’re going to see it a little better.

    Up to 12 gestures configurable

Gestures you Can add three additional gesture to each driver, which adds up to a total of 12 gestures.

The application does not require any special permission, you must simply select it and configure the gestures you want. You have two possible controllers, namely left and right, and each of them has up to three gestures:

    • Swipe to the side.
    • Slide diagonally upwards.
    • Slide diagonally downward.

you Can activate them all or leave only the ones you want. You can also add three other additional gesture selecting the option of long-slide, so that, in total, you can configure up to 12 gestures.

The options available to you are all that you can see in the screenshots above, but include the backspace key, home, recent, menu, go back to the previous app, open the notifications panel, turn off the screen, make a screenshot, or to activate the application support. This last is interesting, since it allows you to open Google Assistant or Bibxy making a gesture.

you can Also modify drivers to make them larger, remove the vibration, etc

In the same way, in the lower module of the main screen of the app you can modify the transparency level of the drivers, as well as its size, position, level of vibration, or sliding distance. By default they come a bit small, which makes it uncomfortable to use it in devices with curved screen as the Galaxy S7 edge, where we tested ourselves. Changing the size so you’ll solve quickly.

As we said at the beginning, One Hand Operation works only with mobile Samsung, so if you have one you can download it from Google Play. Even so, it is an initial version, so there is the possibility that future updates will add support for other devices.
