While the desktop version of Spotify allows you to include local songs that are not available in the catalog of Spotify, Spotify for Android this is not possible, though maybe not for a long time.
The well known Jane Manchun, which has gained fame researching and carving applications in search of functions in development, has the post Spotify for Android on the operating table, and has discovered that the function of import your songs on Spotify for Android is coming up.
Import your music
The research of Jane reveal several changes in the way in the section of Podcasts, as a button to save for later or a menu of Podcast more simplified, as well as a new view of the library and a new view album, the most relevant is the possibility of import music from Android.
to Import music on Spotify is not something really new, but for now you can only carry out in the PC version. With Spotify Premium, and connected to the same Wifi network, you can listen to local songs stored in your PC on your mobile, but there is no way to import music directly to your mobile.
For now we do not know more about this function in addition to what is left to see in the previous screenshot, although we assume that it will work in a similar way as it does in the desktop version of Spotify: you can add your own songs, from your phone, to the library. What will happen after, and if you can listen to them on another device (connected to the same Wifi network or not) we will have to wait for Spotify present the novelty officially.
For now, this is a function on tests that is not officially active, so we still have to wait. It is possible that the experiment is a success, and what we finish watching, or it could be the case that the test was not successful: the only thing we can do is wait.
