Wikipedia for iOS adds dark mode, stickers for iMessage, and more

    Wikipedia was launched this week an update to its iOS app. The new version 5.6 includes new features, including a dark mode, a new feed “On this day” and stickers for iMessage.

    Wikipedia now provides support for mode dark to read more comfortably at night. It also has some controls appearance in this new version, with dimmer images and color themes including sepia, dark and white.

    The function “On this day” allows users to quickly see the events that occurred on that date in history.

    finally, this new version includes stickers for iMessage, a feature that Apple has introduced in iOS 10, and that allow users to share what they are reading by adding notes with the stickers.

    Wikipedia also pointed out that the new version includes some performance improvements and solutions to errors. The application is available to be downloaded free of charge at the App Store.
