Android Marshmallow is already the third version of the most-used, behind Lollipop and KitKat
With a week of delay, Google finally made public the distribution version Android this month on the basis of the devices that connected to Google Play during a seven-day period that ended last September 5.
again no surprises, it has followed the trend of the last few months the only two versions of Android are gaining market share are the two penultimate versions: Android 5.1 Lollipop with a 21.9% (previously 21.4%) and Android 6.0 Marsmallow 18.7% (prior to 15.2%), but that has left us with an important headline: the Android Marshmallow is already the third version used, has exceeded this month to Android Jelly Bean.
Android Marshmallow has taken almost a year to become the third version used since it launched at the end of September of last year.
In contrast, the most recent version of the operating system, Android 7.0 Nougat, still do not appear in the statistics not to be present in at least 0.1% of devices.
The first version is more widely used is still Lollipop with 35% (before 35,5%) and the second version is also still KitKat with 27.7% (prior to 29.2 per cent). Android Jelly Bean now happens to be the fourth version used with the 15.6 per cent (previously 16.7 per cent). The older versions are still slowly losing market share, but their presence is already a testimonial. Then I leave with the whole table:
In a year, we’ll see if Google has had more luck with Nougat, or if the contrary we see as the latest version of Android is always overshadowed by the previous two versions, which is what has been happening in the last few years.
