Synology has developed its range of NAS with the DS416 and DS216 play two new models for the middle segment of products.
Synology has renewed its popular line of NAS devices with two new devices add the rest of the range: DS416 and DS216play. Both models are focused on improving some aspects of the previous models of the same nomenclature, 4 and 2 respectively, and whose main innovations are the inclusion of a system-level encryption hardware to DS416 and support for 4K so native to the DS216 play.
Currently, typical, keep the design of the devices last year, but given the hardware improvements, as a dual-core processor 1.4 GHz and 1 GB of RAM for the DS416 and 1.5 GHz processor and the same amount of memory for the DS216 play.
