Clara was born in Paipa and when she was two years old, her family moved to Chiquinquirá where she lived the stage of childhood and youth. Her vocation was always guided and exemplified by her father, the renowned journalist and poet from Boyacá, Raúl Ospina, who finally led her to join the RCN Channel work team for about 14 years, where she worked as a reporter, chronicler, chief of broadcast, assistant director, until becoming news director.
