Google Pay in Spain is still gradually expanding the list of supported banks, In this month of January is three new entities that have been added to the payment platform official Android app.
Each time the users have more options for add a payment card in Google Pay. Now they are 14 banks and partners with which we can pay with our mobile phone through your debit cards, credit and prepaid. Below we look at all banks supported:
The latest additions to Google Pay
The new banks to reach Google Pay are Banco Pichincha, the Pibanck and the virtual card prepaid Rebellion. With this last card anyone can get it for free and start using Google Pay if still your bank is not supported.
Banks compatible with Google Pay
- open bank
- American Express
- Sodexo (Restaurant Card Pass, Card, Transportation Pass, Business Card Pass)
- Card Post Prepaid
- Edenred (Ticket Restaurant)
- Banco Pichincha
Not all debit or credit cards of all of these entities are compatible with Google Pay. In the support page of Google Pay us detailing what cards are or are not compatible. If we try to add a card in Google Pay as a form of payment without contact, the application will alert us if it is not supported.
