“while Universal Pictures had already stopped the marketing campaign of ‘The Hunt’, after careful consideration, the study has decided to cancel our plans to release the film. We support our filmmakers, and we will continue to distribute films in association with creators bold and visionary, like those who are in this social thriller, satirical, but we understand that now is not the right time to release this film.”
