The keyboard of a Mac includes the function keys in one second behavior that allows us to launch Mission Control, Dashboard, raise or lower the volume, etc. … In System Preferences can determine whether use the function keys (F1, F2, etc..) as standard function keys.

This is useful when we use applications the function keys that help us perform actions faster with keyboard shortcuts. But there are others where it is more comfortable ulsar F8 and start playing the music to have to do FN + F8.

Palua is a small application that can be downloaded from the Mac App Store that allows individually define the behavior of the function keys . So we adapt to our needs the behavior of the function keys. For many application perhaps dispensable for other insurance that they find interesting.
