3. Kung Fu Yoga, 2017

This is the story of a famous archeology professor from China, played by Jackie Chan. The main characters travel with a young Indian professor looking for missing treasure in Tibet. The treasure hunt brings them to Dubai, where Jackie Chan’s character tries to take the treasure from the kidnappers. The movie “Armor of God: In Search of Treasure” was filmed in Dubai for nearly a month. You can see the main sights of the city, including Palm Jumeirah Island, the Dubai Marina district, the Rub al-Hali desert and the grand hippodrome for camel racing Al Maram. Also, Jackie Chan was filmed in the UAE in his new movie called “Vanguard”.

4. Star Trek Beyond, 2016

The production of this film began back in 2014, when the producer of the movie chose Dubai as the city of the future, which suits the setting of the film perfectly. A starfleet space team explores the uncharted depths of space. The film depicts the skyscrapers of a city that transports the viewer to the world of the future.
