A few days ago appeared in Spain the LG Optimus G, new battle standard of the Korean company. One of its virtues is ZeroGap , a new technology that enhances sensitivity and visibility of the screen.
For the guys at LG have prepared a video explaining how ZeroGap technology in LG Optimus G , where you can also see the different layers forming the new panel from the Korean manufacturer.Recall that G Optimus screen is formed by a 4.7 inch IPS panel TrueHD IPS. While IPS panels have a great quality of colors is ZeroGap technology which enhances the image quality.

base ZeroGap technology is the reduction layers between the glass screen and panel . Most devices have two ITO films, indium tin oxide, functioning as conductive and transparent coatings. LG’s New Toy has the ITO film directly on the glass.

Thanks to this screen LG Optimus G is 27% thinner than conventional. Besides almost directly touching the LCD panel is much improved touch and sensitivity. Not to mention the colors, they look much more realistic.
Considering that ZeroGap technology LG has won the award for innovation in e l Korea Electronic Show 2012 , it is clear that the quality is not just theoretical.
