There are movies that seem doomed to not be done ever. Some of them will become the titles that will be passed to the legend by what could have been and was not, while others very few or no one will miss. It all makes me think that the case of the remake ‘The crow’ will be in the second group, as the project has become to die when missing just a few weeks for the start of the shoot. The reason? the Both its director as its main character have left the boat.
just a few hours it has been known that both Corin Hardy as Jason Momoa have decided that they wanted to remain linked to the project. Everything points to the difficulties of the producer to close the distribution agreement with Sony have been the main reason for his departure, wounding and death to a tape that should begin to be shot in five weeks in Hungary for its premiere, scheduled for October 11, 2019.
In fact, Hardy had already abandoned it earlier in the project when behind the same was Relativity Media, but the bankruptcy of the company led to the rights of the same to pass into the hands of Samuel Hadida, who managed the director of ‘The Hallow’ back. Everything seemed to go on wheels beyond that Alex Proyas make public a message asking for the movie not to do so you don’t stain the memory of Brandon Lee, but that was not the case.
Remember that the project has gone through a multitude of hands over the last few years. Directors such as Juan Carlos Fresnadillo or F. Javier Gutiérrez were associated with the same, while actors such as Jack Huston or Luke Evans they were about to try to make us forget the son of Bruce Lee. Now add to that list the names of Hardy and Momoa.
