“That again Maaaatloooooooock!”
If you’re a fan of The Simpsons, sure at least you sounds like the name of “Matlock”. Specifically, Abe Simpson chillándolo, or some small gag little relevance, but has been repeated from time to time during the series.
The first image that we comes to mind is that of Abe Simpson and his friend, the great Jasper, screaming “Maaaatloooooooooock! That Maaaaaaatlooooooooooooock again!” in a table of asylum.
Also Abe Simpson and Jasper appear in a scene where the background, Matlock returns to the limelight. It was in the chapter of Lisa vs. Malibu Stacy.
In episode 5 of season six “The Sideshow Bob back on track”, the house of the Simpson family is at risk of being demolished in a few days to build on it a highway. Specifically, the Highway Matlock, named to win the vote of retirees. Among them, clearly in favor of bringing down the house of the Simpson, grandfather again.
There are the only references. Throughout this name appears several episodes, particularly around the grandfather, who once came to meet him in person and used to steal your heart pills ¯ _ (ツ) _ / ¯. Ben Matlock, in real life, is the protagonist of the series character called Matlock, issued between 1986 and 1992 in his first spell at NBC, and between 1992 and 1995 in his second spell at ABC. Matlock’s character was played by Andy Griffith, who died in 2012 at age 86. In 2001 he went on to appear in an episode of Dawson’s Creek, but in fact his rise to fame came in 1960 with its own program (“The Andy Griffith Show”) that lasted eight years.

As an extra curiosity: by the way they act and practice law, Lionel Hutz is a character clearly inspired by Matlock. Finally, Matlock did not return.
